Ein „Experiment“ mit vorhersehbarem Ausgang wurde von der BBC durchgef\u00fchrt: ein 13j\u00e4hriger tauscht seinen iPod gegen einen Walkman<\/a> aus den achtziger Jahren.<\/p>\n

Wenig \u00fcberraschend fand Scott Campell den Walkman nicht ganz so toll wie seinen iPod:<\/p>\n

Naja – ein digitaler mp3-Player ist<\/em> ja auch besser als ein Walkman. Ein Ger\u00e4t aus den 80ern mit einem von heute zu vergleichen macht ja auch nicht viel Sinn.<\/p>\n

Ich erinnere mich, dass ich meinen Walkman (nicht ganz so ein klobiges Ding wie der von der BBC) noch ziemlich lange benutzt habe. Fast bis ins aktuelle Jahrtausend. Ich hatte ihn auf jeden Fall noch dabei, als ich Ende 1999 f\u00fcr ein Monat an die Uni in Thessaloniki ging. Damals gabs zwar schon mp3s – aber die mp3-Player waren wahnsinnig teuer. Ich wei\u00df noc, dass ich damals noch mp3-Dateien von meinem Computer \u00fcber meine Stereoanlage auf Kassette \u00fcberspielt habe, um sie auch unterwegs h\u00f6ren zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Meinen ersten mp3-Player hab ich mir 2000 gekauft. Der konnte 64 MB speichern und kostete damals 3500 Schilling (etwa 250 Euro). Den habe ich auch wirklich lange verwendet. Erst nach meinem Unzug nach Deutschland, 2005, habe ich ihn weggeschmissen. An meinen neuen Computer konnte ich ihn nicht mehr anschlie\u00dfen. <\/p>\n

Seitdem habe ich keine tragbaren Musikabspielger\u00e4te mehr. Das finde ich aber auch ganz ok; ich finde dieses „Abkapseln von der Umwelt“ sowieso nicht mehr so toll. Es gibt ja auf der Welt genug zu h\u00f6ren – auch ohne Kopfh\u00f6rer im Ohr \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
